First Visit
When you first arrive to the office, you will fill out a registration form (This form is available below for download). This helps us to get to know you better. Thereafter, one of our hygienists will then take a series of digital x-rays to get a better look at your entire mouth. The dentist will review your x-rays, and discuss your dental and medical history and the reason for your visit. The dentist will then perform an oral examination and discuss a customized comprehensive treatment plan that’s best for you. The examination can identify conditions such as tooth decay, periodontal disease, TMJ issues, and even oral cancer.
Our office looks forward to meeting you and doing everything possible to make your first visit as easy and beneficial as possible. We understand that each patient is unique and we promise to give you the personal attention you deserve.
Your first appointment will take between 1–1½ hours. Patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent. A few things that you should bring with you: a list of medications you might be taking and any dental insurance coverage you may have.
