Meet the Zeeland Team

Dr. Ryan Toth – Dentist

Dr. Toth was born and raised in the metro Detroit area.  He went to University of Michigan for his undergraduate degree and graduated in 3 years.  He then moved to Boston for dental school at Boston University.  Since finishing his doctorate with honors from Boston University, he moved back to Michigan and practiced in Walled Lake Michigan right out of dental school.  Thereafter, he moved on to a private office in Lansing, Michigan for several years.  He then found his place in Zeeland, Michigan at his own office where he is able to make sure every patient is able to get the quality care they deserve.
Dr. Toth has 2 older siblings. His sister Dione and brother Eric.  His sister Dione also has 2 children of her own.  Dr. Toth has a niece named Mila and a nephew named Nolan.  Dr. Toth’s father is also a dentist and practices in Detroit.  He is one of Dr. Toth’s biggest influences which lead him to dentistry. His family and friends still reside in Michigan near Detroit.

Dr. Toth got married in September 2013 to Dr. Andrea Salazar.  His wife is also a dentist and practices in Grand Rapids.  They live in Byron Center with their four daughters and have a Bernese Mountain Dog named Finn.

Dr. Toth enjoys many activities other than dentistry. He enjoys working on his vegetable garden, watching movies, reading, golfing and fishing.  He often goes bowling and is looking for a league to join.

Dr. Austin Schild – Dentist

Dr. Austin Schild, a Grand Haven native, earned his degrees in Human Biology and Kinesiology from Michigan State University and his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Midwestern University. His own dental experiences fueled his passion for patient-centered care in his hometown. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his fiancé Monica and their Goldendoodle, Sonny, as well as golfing and traveling.

Dr. Jager Kukowski – Dentist

Dr. Jager Kukowski grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan where he graduated from Hudsonville High School. He attended Grand Valley State University where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Science. He continued his dental education at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio where he co-founded the school's Prosthodontics club. Dr. Kukowski returned to West Michigan with his dental school sweetheart, now fiancé Dr.Jenny Bai, who practices at our Kentwood location. In his free time, Dr. Kukowski enjoys traveling internationally, watching his favorite sports teams, and spending time on Lake Michigan.

STEPHANIE – OFFICE COORDINATOR

Stephanie’s background in dentistry includes over 20 years working in the dental field. She completed a dental assisting program at UEI in California where she received her CDA. She enjoys spending her time with her husband Tyler and two wonderful sons,  Henry and Liam. Stephanie‘s hobbies include antiquing, kayaking, camping and spending time at the beach.

Lisa – Registered Dental Hygienist

Lisa has been a hygienist since 2000 and joined our office over 14 years ago.  She was born and raised in the Zeeland area and has seven children.  She enjoys running and going to the gym.

LANA – REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

Lana has been a dental hygienist since 2013. On her time away from the office, she enjoys doing life with her husband, three children and two pets. Her hobbies include camping, working out and decorating. She moved to West Michigan in 2021 and has loved all it has to offer.

EMILIE – REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

Emilie grew up in Jenison, Michigan and graduated high school from Jenison Senior High School. She attended Ferris State University to continue her education in Dental Hygiene. During her education at Ferris, she completed a bachelor’s degree in Allied Health Science and an associate degree in Dental Hygiene. Emilie enjoys living with her two cats in Hudsonville. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and collecting house plants.

MAEVE – REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST

Maeve graduated from Ferris State University where she obtained her degree in Allied Health Sciences, Spanish and Gerontology. Outside of the office, Maeve enjoys trying new restaurants, travel and spending time with her husband.

Tammi – Front Desk

Tammi was born and raised in Zeeland and graduated from Zeeland East High School. She was trained in dental assisting at Ottawa County Tech Center. She loves being able to utilize her skills as both a dental assistant and receptionist. She has been happily married to her husband Tyler since 2019. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening, fishing, going for walks with her dog Archie, and helping her husband farm.

SADIE – Front Desk

Sadie was born and raised in Holland and then graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in Interdisciplinary Health Services. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, boating and her cat Louie.

MAUREEN – Front Desk

Maureen graduated in 2022 in Medical billing and coding. Outside of work, Maureen enjoys staying active through workouts. She enjoys quality time with her husband Jack, her seven children and seven grandchildren.

ABBY – Front Desk

Abby was born and raised in Northwest Indiana. She was trained in Dental assisting at St. John Dental Assistant School. She has been working in the dental field since 2020. Abby enjoys spending time with family and friends.

MORGAN – Front Desk

Morgan was born in Holland and graduated from Holland Christian High School. Morgan’s favorite part of her job is helping patients and creating relationships. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, house renovations and camping. Morgan is married and has a dog named Ruger.

KRISTEN – Front Desk

Kristen was born in Zeeland and graduated from Cornerstone University with a degree in Sports Management. Kristen is married and has two dogs. She enjoys going to sporting events and spending time with family.

Carla– Dental Assistant

Carla graduated from Coopersville Public Schools before attending Grand Rapids Ed Center for Dental Assisting.  She is CPR and radiology certified and has been in dentistry since 1987.  She has been married since 1995 to a Rockford graduate, Steve and together they have four children Nichole, Alex, Kristyn and Brandon.  She also has four grandchildren Hailey, Isiac, Elijah and Josiah.  The family attends Coopersville Reformed Church.  Carla has two dogs an American Eskimo named Arlo and a Heeler/Pitbull Mix name Dusty.  Carla enjoys camping, target shooting with bows, swimming, walking, crafts, and selling Tastefully Simple.

EZEKIEL– Dental Assistant

Ezekiel (also goes by Zeke) started working with the team as one of our dental assistants right after graduating from Ross in early 2019. Zeke was born and raised in Holland and graduated from West Ottawa High School in 2017. He enjoys spending time with his wife, going for runs and boxing.

BRIANNA– Dental Assistant

Brianna is a graduate of Ross Medical and has been a Dental Assistant since 2021. She married her high school sweetheart and has two beautiful daughters and two dogs. Brianna enjoys being in the water, loves crafting with her children, taking them to parks and thrift store shopping.

TAYLOR– Dental Assistant

Taylor was born and raised in Holland and is a graduate of Hudsonville Dental Assistant Program. Taylor enjoys spending time with her son, playing video games and working out.
